Un son de cloche se fait entendre, comme un signe de ralliement. Des silhouettes surgissent, mi-bergers, mi-révolutionnaires, et nous rassemblent pour nous emmener en déambulation clandestine. Un premier chant nous enveloppe doucement. Le chœur enfle, gonfle et devient puissant, se dressant face aux injonctions d'un monde toujours plus autoritaire. Par le chant a cappella, L’Armée du Chahut entraîne le public dans une tentative d’émancipation, avec force et douceur, humour et poésie. L'émotion collective comme dernier acte de résistance ?
A ringing bell is heard. Then another. As a rallying sign. Singular silhouettes come together, gather us together to be taken on an uncertain journey. Then, like a shout, comes a first song. Followed by another, then another. Imperceptibly the grows and become powerful, monopolising all the attention and standing up the injunctions. Because such is the purpose of this pastoral choir : to settle a sensitive and abrupt speech in the public space, sometimes melodious, sometimes punk, tender or brutal, a rumour that becomes heckling.
