Un King déchu, un clochard précieux, déglingué, désarticulé. Un Buster Keaton du dancefloor. Chef d'orchestre, chauffeur de salle drolatique, architecte du désordre. Le Band joue, la musique le possède, il prend possession de l'espace, déroule ses rubalises, trace son palais, délimite, emmêle. Le public devient ses sujets, il le convie à sa folie douce pour se lâcher et danser ! Pour cette nouvelle année, le groupe a peaufiné son nouveau spectacle, "Sa Majesté!", l'histoire d'un roi déchu, d'un clochard précieux et déglingué qui part à la reconquête de ses sujets (incarnés par le public). Le spectacle est pour partie improvisé avec le public, pour partie déjà écrit en lien avec le morceau qui se joue. Le KDBB est tout autant un spectacle qu'un concert où le public est partie prenante.
A fallen King, a precious vagabond, unhinged, disjointed. A Buster Keaton of the dancefloor. Conductor, whimsical hype man, architect of disorder. The band plays. The music possesses him. He takes over the space, unspools his tape, maps out his palace, marks it, tangles it. The crowd becomes his subjects. He invites them into his gentle madness, to let go, and dance. For this new year, the group has devised a brand-new show, "His Majesty!", the story of a fallen king, a precious, unhinged vagabond setting out to win back his subjects (embodied by the audience). The performance is partly improvised with the crowd, partly pre-written in connection with the music being played. KDBB is as much a theatrical spectacle as it is a concert where the audience becomes an essential part of the experience.
