Co-authors - Street and Public Space Arts & Theater
A partner in the program since 2023, Chalon dans la rue continues its efforts to support artistic exploration alongside ARTCENA.
Designed as a meeting place between a playwright who has received the National Grant for the Creation of Dramatic Texts and an artist working in street and public space arts, this program supports new explorations and research in the field of dramatic writing.
During 5- to 6-week residencies at partner venues, the two artists share their creative worlds, artistic languages, and expertise to enrich and distinguish their artistic approaches. This is a unique initiative that promotes cross-disciplinary collaboration (across the arts, sectors, and networks); while it does not require the production of a performance, it can nevertheless foster collaborations that are likely to continue, potentially leading to a new creation.
