CHALON STREET FESTIVAL
The OFF Selection is one of the cornerstones of the Chalon dans la rue festival. It offers a rich and diverse overview of artistic creation in public spaces.
Nearly 130 companies have been selected by the festival team, which pays particular attention to diversity in styles, perspectives, disciplines, and aesthetics. The rich and varied program unfolds throughout the city.
Emerging companies share the stage with established ones, intimate productions alongside large-scale projects, and live performances alongside digital and visual art installations.
The Sélection Off also entrusts certain spaces to collectives of theater companies or cultural organizations to transform them into welcoming venues. Companies join forces, take over a site, and transform it into a whole new world featuring non-stop performances, food and drink, and a lively atmosphere.
