Preview – "In" Selection at the Chalon dans la rue Festival

An experience at the heart of the crowd, stripped down to the bare essentials, seeming to emerge from nowhere.
The Le Doux Supplice theater company takes over the public square, calling on collective intelligence to organize, collaborate, and set us in motion. 

Eight acrobats, male and female dancers, a clown, an actress, and a sound designer. Set against the backdrop of public spaces, they engage with reality in the harsh light of day. Their bodies move slowly, supporting one another, pulling one another along, intertwining. Their movements echo one another, forming a living chorus—fragile yet powerful—right in the midst of the audience.

In this acrobatic and choreographed journey, the crowd becomes a landscape, a partner, and a playground for adventure. A collective narrative gradually takes shape, driven by a shared momentum.

With *Les Petites Épopées*, the company presents new stories that bring us together and inspire us, as a community, to face what lies ahead.

Because while the worst may still be ahead,
the best may be too… maybe.
