MAY 30: Public presentation of the program 

During this artistic and festive event, get a sneak peek at the 2026 edition of the festival: the shows, the companies, the gathering spots...!
The 39th edition of the Chalon dans la rue festival will take place from July 23 to 26!

>> This event will also mark the release of the preview program! It will be available for free during the event and at stores throughout the city.

At the Abattoir ( 52 Quai Saint-Cosme – Chalon-sur-Saône)
Free event, no reservation required – Open to everyone

 

Ahead of the official release of the program on June 5, the festival invites you to get an exclusive sneak peek at its 2026 edition during a festive evening on Saturday, May 30, starting at 5 p.m., at the Abattoir venue.

An opportunity to immerse yourself in the festival, but also to get together, chat, share a meal, and get into the festival spirit together.

4:00 PM: Information sessions for volunteers and hosts

• 5:00 p.m.: Welcome 

• 5:30 p.m.: Excerpt from *Guinguette Plantes* 

To start things off, here’s an excerpt from Outdoor Cafés and Plants, a participatory project with a botanical theme that has been in the works for several months in collaboration with residents of the Quartier des Aubépins. 



• 6:00 p.m.: Presentation of the program

The festival team will then give you a sneak peek at this 39th edition: performances, guest companies, new additions, places to socialize, and more. 

Live presentation in French Sign Language by Synchrones Interprétation.



• 7:30 p.m.: Les Petites Épopées - Le Doux Supplice Theater Company  

Then, the highlight of the evening with Les Petites Épopées... from the Le Doux Supplice company. A powerful and immersive performance where the artists emerge from the heart of the audience to sweep you away on a collective adventure blending acrobatics and dance. 


    

• 9:00 PM: Dinner and DJ night!

And because a great evening doesn’t end there, we’re extending the fun starting at 9 p.m. with a potluck dinner—bring your own food or enjoy a meal package available on-site (for a fee) from Le Galpon—before wrapping up with a DJ set! Everyone gets to enjoy the music!
