CHALON DANS LA RUE FESTIVAL
The OFF Selection is one of the pillars of the Chalon dans la rue festival. It offers a rich and diverse panorama of artistic creation in public spaces.
Nearly 130 companies are selected by the festival team, with a focus on diversity in styles, perspectives, disciplines, and aesthetics. The program is rich and varied and takes place throughout the city. Emerging companies share the stage with established ones, intimate productions with larger-scale projects, and live performances with digital and installation art.
The Sélection Off also entrusts certain venues to groups of companies or cultural organizations to transform them into festive spaces. Companies join forces, take over a venue, and transform it into a new world featuring nonstop performances, food and drink, and a festive atmosphere.
