In a workshop designed to help people relearn clumsiness, visitors can wander through machines designed to make them clumsy (an automatic banana-peel-slip machine, a machine for breaking glued-back pots) and participate in activities such as: how to lose your keys? Open your eyes, miss a step, and discover: moments of suspension and wandering, tales of clumsiness, odes to the glory of dyspraxia, situations to try harder and fail even worse. Aïe Boum Zut - Clumsy uses the absurd to question our relationship with failure, the unexpected, and the pride of knowing how to use things without spilling.
Offered a chance to rediscover clumsiness, the audience will wander through machines designed to induce clumsiness (machines that automatically trip over banana peels or break fragile pots) and be invited to experience devices such as: How do you lose your keys? Open your eyes, miss a few steps, and discover: moments of suspension and wandering, stories of clumsiness, odes to dyspraxia, situations where you try harder and fail more spectacularly. "Aïe Boum Zut - malhabile" explores, through the absurd, our relationships with failure, the unexpected, and the pride of knowing how to serve yourself without spilling.
