These are the intertwining stories of several characters, set around a dam. The story of several trout and a few perch swimming at the bottom of an artificial lake, and of birds that take us across the ocean and through time. We expect a well-crafted thriller, yet as the story unfolds, we are immersed in the questions and turmoil of those who tell the story. How do we create a performance today, as observers of our own excesses? This is one of the central questions driving this collective, which pulls a taut thread upon which the droplets of past and future struggles glisten, between the beginning and the end of the narrative; between the solid foundations of a story being told and the dreamlike deconstruction of a universe in decline. A poetic and musical performance in which the puppeteers, as necessary shadows, work with precision and fluidity.
