“What if, instead of clubs, we used our arms as juggling props?” “Can you juggle without props?” In EL DORADO, there are no more clubs—only arms, fists, heads, and legs. We juggle with our bodies, and our bodies juggle with us. We find ourselves in a festive, hybrid world where the codes of circus and dance intertwine. The choreography emerges from juggling, the physical expression is acrobatic, and the narrative is a journey between the body as object and the body as subject. EL DORADO is a circus and dance performance, a golden physical quest to become ONE with the world and others.
