Around the corner, two slightly punk-ish buddies, Ded and Steven. One tinkers with music on cassettes; the other builds special effects using wooden planks and wood screws. They hope to reach for the stars by performing their DIY rock opera in honor of Fabrice Guy. This man, who became the Olympic champion in Nordic combined at Albertville in 1992 and whom you can now run into every day. They recount their hero’s epic journey in a simple, raw, spectacular way—much like themselves… Fabrice Guy is a local figure. Around here, everyone knows him. There are those who were on the edge of the track the day of his victorious race, those who gave a presentation about him in fifth grade, those who ran into him by chance. He’s a bit like a neighbor crowned with the glory of an Olympic title. Behind the hero, there’s always a touching story...
