Five acrobats begin their usual training routine, except that today, the arrival of a mischievous musician is about to throw a wrench in their day. Using his voice and instruments, he takes control of their bodies and sets them in motion to the rhythm of the music. But the moment he lets his guard down, the acrobats regain and rediscover their independence. The international collective ConTakt draws on a wide range of acrobatic disciplines, including lifts, partner acrobatics, balancing acts, and Icarian games, all seasoned with theatricality, choreography, and a healthy dose of humor. The live music gives each performance a unique freshness and character. Wordless and full of surprises, this family-friendly show will delight and move audiences of all ages.
