Have you noticed that we tend to view plants as mere decoration, rather than living beings in their own right? Well, armed with a basket filled with a magnifying glass and plant specimens, two singer-musicians (double bass and cello), and a narrator welcome you to this event that feels like a picnic on the grass. What connections do we forge with plants? As we break the seed, the plants tell us about their dreams and their realities. This production was developed as part of the Aventures Artistiques initiative led by Chalon dans la rue. Numerous events and gatherings centered on plants took place from July 2025 to July 2026 at the Maison de Quartier des Aubépins in Chalon-sur-Saône. The stories related to the plants of Les Aubépins and the dishes served were prepared with the help of many participants, whom we warmly thank.
