"How Much We Carry" is an artistic and acrobatic performance that emerges in the heart of a neighborhood, a crowd, or a square, transforming everyday spaces into temporary stages. It offers a sensitive exploration of the meaning of the English word "carry"—what we carry physically and what we carry within us. How much we carry is an invitation to pause, connect, and take care of ourselves and those around us, beyond this unconventional apparatus—the giant pole—in a state of constant imbalance.
"How Much We Carry" is an artistic and acrobatic performance that takes place in the middle of a playground, a neighborhood, or a crowd, creating ephemeral performance spaces in everyday settings. Inspired by the meaning of the word "carry"—the weight we carry physically and within ourselves—it is an invitation to pause and take a break to connect with and care for one another, through this unconventional circus apparatus, the perch, in its constant state of imbalance.
