What if reality surpassed fiction? *INVERTÉBRÉS* is the story of Clara, a biohacker who, driven by a degenerative disease, modifies her own DNA. By pushing the boundaries of science, she triggers a mutation in her body. Gravity no longer seems to affect her; Clara takes flight, yet in that very moment, she escapes her human nature. The play distorts your perceptions to explore the possibilities of the biotechnological revolution that is propelling humanity toward unknown horizons. An invitation to reflect on bioethics in response to the call of genetic biologists. “I have just leaped into a void that no human being has explored before me. I have designed a guide RNA specific to my failing cells. The serum is now circulating in my veins, and like a silent messenger, it seeks its target. I watch for every shiver as if it were an omen. I am on the lookout, as one waits for a storm...” Clara
