Batman is a shaman. Blending playful science, poetic texts, and electronic music, the Mycélium company invites you to exchange signals with bats using an ultrasonic detector, allowing you to sing and make music with them during an initiatory gathering—a real-life experience of connecting with other species, an invitation to appreciate the beauty of other ways of being. The team has a bat-box (a micro-receiver) that converts the ultrasonic sounds emitted by bats into sounds audible to the human ear, and a system that converts speech, singing, and music into ultrasonic sounds for the bats.
