They are both beekeepers and were about to make “their dream” come true: a home in the countryside, a healthy environment for their bees and themselves. They borrowed a down payment from their parents and took a trip to visit and explore the property. Once there, however, there was nothing for sale—much to the surprise of the real owners, who were very sorry. A major scam and disappointment that no coffee can fix. Broke and far from home, they come up with an idea: They’ll put on shows using whatever they have on hand—a makeshift, home-style circus they’ll call “making do with what we have”—to raise money to pay off their debts... They’re foolish, dangerous, poetic, clumsy, but it’s with conviction that they’ll give it their all to avoid ending up on the street.

Once there, however, the property was not for sale—much to the surprise of the real owners, who were very sorry. Penniless and far from home, they had an idea: they would put on shows using whatever they had on hand—a makeshift circus they would call “Les moyens du bord”—to raise money to pay off their debts... They’re foolish, dangerous, poetic, and clumsy, but they’re determined to give it their all to avoid ending up on the streets.
