A thought-provoking, tender, and funny tale about our collective fears. A new mayor was elected unanimously. He swore, promised, and declared: “No more Big Bad Wolves around here!” The result? He banned access to the woods and armed the hunter with a bazooka. Just like that! Everyone feels safe now, and so what if you have to show your passport just to step outside. The little girl in the red hood starts to grumble: “How am I supposed to go see Grandma without getting caught? She doesn’t have Wi-Fi or cell service, just her old radio! And then there’s that Big Bad Wolf—who’s ever actually seen him?” In this contemporary fable, Amal takes on the monsters created to instill fear. A family-friendly, political show that invites reflection and action.

A heartfelt, tender, and humorous tale about our collective fears. A new mayor has been elected unanimously. He swore, promised, and declared: "No more Big Bad Wolf in our town!" The result? He banned access to the woods and armed the hunter with a bazooka. Nothing less! Everyone feels safe, even if it means showing a passport just to step outside. The little girl in the red hood starts complaining: “How am I supposed to visit my granny without getting stopped? She has no Wi-Fi, no cell service, just her old radio! And anyway, who has ever actually seen this Big Bad Wolf?” In this contemporary fable, Amal takes on the monsters we create to scare ourselves. A family show, boldly political, that invites us to reflect… and to act!
