Dare to look yourself in the eye, smile at yourself, reach out your hand, and let your reflection be without judgment. Dare to see yourself as you’ve never seen yourself before. Are you capable of it? They wander about, pushing their strange carts. Don’t be afraid, come closer; it is when you are alone in front of the mirror that invisible truths or your deepest desires will appear. Magic happens when things cease to be what they are. Mirror, Am I? is a poetic street performance conceived by Stéphanie Coppé. Through a play of mirrors, the viewer sees their face transformed while a soundtrack slips into their ears, reflecting the state of the world around us. And for those who wish to take the experience further, when the carts stop, the viewer is invited to listen, via headphones, to contemporary poetry texts on identity.
