A bittersweet display of intimidation: a gang of women bursts onto the scene, inviting the audience (or not) to follow their lead. Through dance and acrobatics, these energetic and powerful bodies shape the space, directing and challenging the gaze of the spectators. The performers thus plunge the audience and themselves into a suspended moment—the “just before”—that brief interval where nothing has happened yet, so anything can still happen. “Bittersweet Intimidation Parade” is an invitation to sweat out a response with flamboyance, fragility, and derision. See you on the bubble wrap.
"parade d'intimidation aigre-douce" is the emergence of a group of women who invite the audience (or not) to follow in their footsteps. Through dance and acrobatics, these energetic and powerful bodies shape the space, directing and engaging the audience’s gaze. The performers thus plunge the audience and themselves into a suspended moment—the “right before”—that lapse of time when nothing has happened yet, so anything can still happen. “parade d’intimidation aigre-douce” is an invitation to sweat out the counterattack with flamboyance, fragility, and derision. See you on the bubble wrap.
