POROUS MATTER explores the porosity of the body—an open network of relationships between microbes, data, and resonances. Numerous fields of research have recognized the interconnectedness of biological systems: our bodies are not closed entities, but permeable ones, in constant exchange with their environment. Here, the body is examined as an archive of evolving memories, fossil traces, and microbiological histories. Bacteria, fungi, and cellular colonies shape our metabolism and perception—and remind us that species extinction also affects the inhabitants of our own bodies. In this immersive, digital walkthrough, the body becomes both landscape and host. Screens open windows onto microscopic worlds, making visible what connects us to other forms of life.
