*Multitude*, Stromae’s album released in 2022, is a collection of intimate stories about parenthood, depression, romantic relationships, dreams, disillusionment, violence, and more. All these themes form touching mini-stories that the theater company Les Petites Mains wanted to bring to life. Here, sign language takes on its full theatrical dimension: it acts and interprets, much like a musical. Hearing and deaf people alike are on equal footing, overwhelmed by the power of the texts thus revealed.

Stromae's 2022 album "Multitude" weaves together intimate stories about parenthood, depression, romantic relationships, dreams, delusions, violence, and more. Each theme is brought to life through emotional mini-stories performed by "Les petites mains." Here, sign language becomes theater, with the performances taking on the style of a musical. Deaf and hearing people are on equal footing, swept away by the powerful tide of the lyrics.
