One day, a beggar’s outstretched hand stops tightrope walker Arthur Sidoroff in his tracks. He lingers, chatting with the man over a few cups of coffee. From this encounter, a story is born. Two meters above the ground, accompanied by musician Thomas Caillou, he recounts these fragile and unstable lives from his tightrope. In a two-sided setup that invites connection, Robert n’a pas de paillettes offers a suspended journey, where the wire becomes a source of both choreography and emotion. Losses of balance and recoveries resonate with our humanity. The performance becomes a shared, intimate space where invisible bonds are forged. Arthur Sidoroff asserts a raw, sincere presence, standing on the wire without filters or artifice.
