At a garage sale, Paul decides to part with his childhood toys, and a conversation ensues with his teddy bear. Through this encounter, he tenderly revisits his memories and relives the defining moments of his childhood. Inspired by a personal story, the show delicately addresses the themes of childhood trauma, bullying, and sexual abuse. It questions the silences imposed, particularly on boys, who are often encouraged to hide their emotions and vulnerabilities. It also explores traumatic amnesia: the confusion, doubts, dizziness, and dissociative mechanisms that accompany these imposed silences. Théodore, or the Silence of Men invites reflection, listening, and speaking, and can lead to a time for discussion.

Warning: This performance may be disturbing to some viewers.
