Two near-twins wander through a world too colorful to be true… On a whim, they morph and have fun turning their surroundings into an amusement park ripe for domestic accidents. VIOLENT brings out everything that’s been hidden under the bed and buried in our minds since childhood, mixes it with memories of seaside resorts, and adds to that the unsold items from AliExpress. Sacrificing the question of good taste versus bad taste in favor of “Just do it anyway,” this baroque fresco painted with the feet embraces fragility—even defends it—as a form of beauty. And if the law of theater says “every accident is a gift,” we’ll reply that this show is Christmas.
