Five men. Five life paths shaped by an inherited masculinity, almost etched into their very flesh. On stage, they confront one another and themselves, striving to embody an ideal that transcends them. Then a crack appears. Beneath the tension, long-suppressed emotions—intimacy and sensitivity—surface. They traverse their own constructs as if they were terrain to be deconstructed, allowing fragility, ambivalence, and nuance to emerge. Between control and surrender, they seek a balance, a more intimate truth. Carried by five female performers, the piece shifts perspectives and blurs boundaries. Gender lines blur, identities circulate. A space opens up, where each person can redefine their body and the way they inhabit it.
Warning: This performance may be disturbing to some viewers.
Five men. Five life paths shaped by inherited masculinity, almost etched into their very flesh. On stage, they confront others and themselves, striving to embody an ideal that transcends them. Then, a crack appears. Beneath the tension, long-suppressed emotions rise to the surface: intimacy, sensitivity. They navigate their own constructs as a terrain to be dismantled, allowing fragility, ambivalence, and nuance to emerge. Between control and surrender, they search for balance, for a more intimate truth. Carried by five female performers, the piece shifts perspectives and unsettles reference points. Gender boundaries blur, identities circulate. A space opens, where each individual can redefine their body and the way they choose to inhabit it.
