JOUIR is the story of a woman in search of orgasm. To tell her story, she is accompanied by women and men, dancing bodies, erotic emancipation, and music. By revisiting the comedy club as well as the genres of theatrical documentary and musical cabaret, JOUIR is an invitation to collectively ask ourselves questions about desire and pleasure: Why is there an orgasmic gap? What models of pleasure exist, and which ones can we (re)invent? How can we talk about this with those around us? And above all, is it really that important to climax?

Themes of the residency: Champagnepopping, under the covers, fruit, colors, fallen leaves, what women go through, walls, recordings, music, screams, silences, falling bodies, breathing, tango...How can we address female pleasure beyond words?
