The Sweet Torment

An experience at the heart of the crowd, stripped down to almost nothing, seeming to emerge from nowhere. We will call upon collective intelligence to organize ourselves, collaborate, and set ourselves in motion. Eight acrobat-dancers, a clown, an actress, and a sound designer, projected into the public space, grappling with reality in the harsh light of day, with the ambition of suggesting new narratives that will move us collectively, to face what lies ahead—the worst is yet to come, but so is the best...perhaps.

Goal of the residency: We will work on making everything flow more smoothly. Our three outside perspectives will be there to help us: Julie Lefebvre, Toma Roche, and Paolo Crocco. Performing in public twice will allow us to test the whole production and prepare as best we can for the premieres, which will follow very soon after.
